About Charlie’s

Charlie’s took over a historic building in Grandview.

What was once a pre-war grocery store, 1794 West 5th Avenue then changed hands and became the Styling Nook - a hair salon owned by local stylist Becky McKibben and her husband Bruce.

Now, in 2025, we took over what was once the Styling Nook and transformed it to fit the needs of a barbershop that didn’t feel too sleek or modernized, but not too antiquated or retro either. We wanted something clean, unique, and full of personality.

We are proud to be a community pillar in the Grandview area, and being able to continue the tradition of bringing expert hairstyling to the Grandview, Upper Arlington, and greater Columbus areas fit perfectly with our philosophy.
